Seventh Grade Art is a one semester class that focuses on the elements of art and the principals of design. This class is where students develop their basic drawing and painting skills. All projects have appropriate art history background. All students will keep a sketchbook for the semester.
Eighth Grade Art Art is a one year class that builds on basic skills and continues to develop students’ mastery of art and design. During this class students will experiment with many different media and explore their personal creativity. All students will keep a sketchbook that will serve as a portfolio cataloging their year in art.
Core Knowledge Fine Arts is a 7th grade class that focuses on the history and creation of art and music. Its curriculum covers the age of Impressionism through Modern Art in the 1940s.
